Kibera-bred rapper Stephen Otieno Adera popularly known as Stevo Simple Boy has requested President William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto to collaborate with him on various projects.
Kibera-bred rapper Stevo Simple Boy has recently reached out to Charlene Ruto, the daughter of President William Ruto, seeking collaboration on projects focused on combating alcohol and drug abuse among the youth in Kenya. In a heartfelt video posted on his Instagram account, he praised Charlene for her industriousness and commitment to making a difference, stating, “Charlene Ruto ni mwanadada ambaye anachapa kazi.” He emphasized their shared work ethic and expressed his belief that she would be an excellent partner in advocating for positive change.
Alongside this collaboration request, Stevo took the opportunity to promote his latest song, “Mafi Mafi Mushkila,” which translates to "no problem" in Arabic. He encouraged Charlene to support and share the track, which has already gained impressive traction, amassing 70,000 views within just 24 hours of its release.
In addition to his collaboration ambitions, Stevo recently faced challenges regarding a cancelled gig in Saudi Arabia. He and his new signee, Machabe, expressed dissatisfaction with their travel arrangements, specifically mentioning the disappointment of receiving economy class tickets instead of the agreed-upon business class. They also highlighted issues with accommodation details and threatened to refund their deposit if the promoter did not address their concerns.
