Morara Kebaso Acquires Modified Toyota Landcruiser After Seeking Funds For PA System

Government critic and lawyer Morara Kebaso has recently acquired a modified Toyota Land Cruiser Prado TX to support his civic education campaign. On Wednesday, September 4, Kebaso posted photos of the vehicle on his social media, and requested recommendations for a graphic designer to help with branding it.

He captioned the photos, saying, "Graphic designers, it is your time to do the Lord’s work. We have acquired a vehicle to mount the public address system. We need a designer for branding and wrapping."

On August 29, lawyer Morara Kebaso sought assistance from Kenyans to find a vehicle equipped with a powerful public address system for his nationwide tours. He expressed his need for such a vehicle to enhance his civic education efforts in village market centers, stating, "I need a vehicle with a powerful public address system fitted on it. I want to inject civic education into village market centers and embark on a relaunching tour. Who knows how we can acquire or modify one?"

Later, Kebaso appealed to the public for donations to purchase the public address system, emphasizing that the equipment would solely be used for civic education purposes. He detailed the options for the sound system, stating, "Dear sponsors and the people of Kenya, we can choose between a presidential sound system for Sh1.2 million or a middle-range option for Sh838,200. Please review these prices and verify if they are market-competitive. So far, I have raised Sh325,000 for the sound system."

He continued, "I hope more Kenyans of goodwill will keep contributing. As for the vehicle to be fitted with this sound system, I don’t have one yet, but I do have an old LR Defender without a gearbox. I can repair that one as we proceed. These assets will be used solely for civic education and good governance campaigns."

Kebaso has gained prominence for his nationwide tours to inspect government projects and highlight their conditions.
